Then we are in agreement in how his emotions must be brought out. [A sigh.] When he first tried to shut himself away from everyone, I locked him in a room with myself, and pushed him in every way that I could think of, to release that pent up emotion. He ended up destroying the entire storage room as a result.
[Ezio pauses here, uncertain how else to proceed other than to continue in the same methods.]
It will be trying, as well as tiring, but. I believe Alastair is capable of learning how to let emotions run their course, without destroying him from the inside out.
Stifling is the only way he currently knows, Altaïr. [There is a pause at this.] In his world, he cannot afford to even show the tiniest amount of fear, or pain, because his sister has the ability to feel what he does. And that, in turn, hurts her.
[There is another silence, before he speaks again.]
I can only hope he will learn how to handle his emotions in time. There is only so much we can do for him.
voice;
He is not coping well with what happened to him in his homeland. He injured Ichigo in training today.
voice;
I had hoped he would be more stable after his time in the shop earlier today. Apparently not.
[There is a pause as he sighs, and pinches the bridge of his nose in agitation. He's going to get grey hairs early at this point.]
Is Ichigo still injured?
voice;
[Altaïr would have made it but fortunately he was ready and willing to do so.]
I sparred with him afterward.
[It went a little beyond that. 8| ]
voice;
Alastair.]
I can only imagine how well that went.
[Sarcastically said, of course, though he is interested to hear if there's anything that should be pointed out.]
voice;
[A pause, because while he doesn't regret his methods at all, he's not sure what Ezio will think of him.]
I pushed him. He was holding too much of himself back. That will only result in another outburst when it becomes too much for him.
voice;
[Ezio pauses here, uncertain how else to proceed other than to continue in the same methods.]
It will be trying, as well as tiring, but. I believe Alastair is capable of learning how to let emotions run their course, without destroying him from the inside out.
Re: voice;
Perhaps it is progress that he did not break everything in the training area this time.
[Sigh.]
He must learn to control himself without stifling himself. We may simply have to keep trying as we have been, Brother.
voice;
[There is another silence, before he speaks again.]
I can only hope he will learn how to handle his emotions in time. There is only so much we can do for him.
voice;
[Not that Ezio needs to be told, clearly. But it's frustrating, being unable to easily help one of their own.]
He has much potential. I have to believe he can overcome this, as well.
